How You Can Help

1.  Tell everyone about spay and neuter

Pet overpopulation is a serious problem.  It results in the euthanasia of 3-6 million companion animals each year.  In addition to those who are euthanized, many homeless animals are left to live and fend for themselves outdoors.

The overpopulation problem will not be solved until cats and dogs are no longer overbreeding.  This will not happen until there is complete public awareness of the problem and a willingness on the part of all citizens to promote the spay and neuter of all companion animals.

You can help by:

1.  Being sure that your pet is spayed and neutered.

2.  Talking to friends, relatives, co-workers and neighbors about the importance of spay and neuter.

3.  Supporting organizations that promote the spay and neuter of animals.

For more information please see the Spay and Neuter section of this web site.

2.  Volunteer

Little Buddies depends on volunteers to help in many ways.  If you are interested in volunteering, please contact us.  I am sure that we can find some way to mesh your interests and skills with the needs of our animals.

Some of the areas in which we need volunteer help and expertise include:

A.  Foster homes for our homeless animals

B.  Assistance in showing our animals at adoption sites

C.  Help with fundraising activities.

D.  Assistance with preparation of newsletters

E.  Public outreach opportunities

 3.  Donate

Little Buddies is a nonprofit organization.  We depend on donations to allow us to do the work that we do.  We are very appreciative of each and every donation.

You might also wish to make a nonmonetary donation.  Our wish list includes:

1.  cat and dog food

2.  litter

3.  postage stamps

4.  cat and dog carriers

Because Little Buddies is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, your donations are fully tax deductible as allowed by law.
