Rusty was rescued from the Bull Run Regional Park when a concerned animal lover bordering the park saw him huddling in some long grasses trying to stay warm and dry during one of July’s biggest rainstorms. Thinking he was feral, the rescuer was pleasantly surprised to find him a warm and cuddly adolescent, about 1 year old, who likes nothing better than to lie next to you on the couch and purr loudly. Rusty gets along famously with people, even strangers. His favorite pastime is to rub his cheeks on his human. He is a very gentle soul.
