Considering Adoption?
A wonderful pet can add love, fun, joy and companionship to your life. There is even evidence to suggest that having a companion animal can improve your spiritual and physical health. Pets will give back to you the same amount of love, companionship and patience that you give them. Therein lies the secret to having a good animal companion. If you do not have the time, finances, and patience to devote to a new pet, you will not develop the type of loving relationship that you would like to have with them. Thousands of animals are returned to shelters each year because the person who adopted them was not prepared for the commitment that it takes to develop and nurture the relationship with a new pet. Adopters must be 21 years old. For the healthy development of our kittens, we require kittens under 6 months of age to be adopted into multiple animal homes (i.e. the home already has a companion animal or will be adopted with another kitten/cat).

Review our Available Little Buddies to find your favorite(s) then complete our Adoption Application. Our Adoption Coordinator will contact you within 24 hours. Applications are reviewed in the order they are received. If you have questions, please email us at adopt@littlebuddies.org.
Our adoption fee is
$190 for a cat or kitten. This includes spay/neuter, microchipping, combo testing, age-appropriate vaccinations, deworming, flea treatment and any medical care necessary prior to adoption. We require all applicants to be at least 21 years of age. When adopted, our cats and kittens are healthy, to the best of our knowledge.
Many of our rescued kitties were not cared for adequately in their previous lives and are in need of significant vet care when they come to us.
Frequently, we
spend much more per cat or kitten than is covered by the adoption fee.

is a predominately volunteer organization, we rely on donations and adoption fees to cover our veterinary
and pet care expenses.
All of our cats and kittens are fostered in the homes of our dedicated volunteer Foster Parents, who help us ensure every little buddy is socialized to be the perfect companion for you and your family. We've frequently heard people say that they will only ever adopt from us because of the love and care that we give to each and every kitty. After approved, potential adopters will meet our little buddies in the foster family's home, giving you the opportunity to make meaningful initial connections without the chaos of an adoption event.
