They say that girls mature faster than boys; that is certainly true for Sue. She grew up with five other kittens (four boys and another girl), and she proved the most clever by far. She was the first to discover the litter box; the first to figure out how to eat off of a plate; and the first to figure out how to run down the hall to find her people. She is smart and independent, but don't think that means she's aloof. She loves to explore and to wrestle with the other cats (and dog!), but she always loves to lay with a person and just be near. Sue was separated from her mother early on, so early in fact that she had to be bottle-fed. This means she recognizes humans as caretakers and is as attached to them as a child is to its mother.
