I agree to not foster animals for other rescue(s) while working with Little Buddies.*

I agree to provide a safe home to a foster animal(s) for a limited period, ranging from a few days or weeks to a month or more. Foster animal(s) will be returned to Little Buddies upon request.*

I agree to keep the foster animal(s) in my care safe and secure, providing love and respect, grooming, socialization and play enrichment as needed to make the foster animal(s) more adoptable. This may include providing photos and adoption bios. *

I agree to provide at my own cost quality food, fresh water, clean litter, appropriate bedding and enrichment toys for the foster animal(s). These expenses may be tax-deductible. Some equipment/supplies may be requested of and provided by Little Buddies. *

I agree to notify the Adoption Coordinator (Littlebuddies1@gmail.com or (703) 431-5931) if I notice any change in my foster animal’s behavior or shows signs of illness, such as, but not limited to: extreme lethargy, loss of appetite, breathing difficulty, infection, lack of weight gain, loss of weight, death or escape of my foster animal(s).*

I understand my responsibility for transporting the foster animal(s) to and from veterinary/related appointments or to/from Adoption Coordinator, as required, unless other arrangements are made with the Adoption Coordinator. *

I agree that my foster animal(s) will only be treated by a veterinarian chosen by Little Buddies. Little Buddies will cover necessary veterinary care (as approved by Little Buddies) for foster animals and will provide continued support and guidance to the Foster Parent.*

I understand that Little Buddies will be responsible for all costs related to necessary veterinary care of foster animal(s), only if prior authorization has been given by Little Buddies.*

I agree to keep my foster animal exclusively indoors; no garages, porches, or unapproved outside living spaces. *

I agree not promise the animal(s) in my care to anyone or imply that you have the authority to approve a potential adoption. Little Buddies retains ownership of all animals placed in foster care and will make all decisions regarding veterinary care, the adoption, approval of potential adopters and placement of the fostered animals. *

I understand that the animal(s) in my care are not to be given to anyone (or kept as my own pet) until paperwork is complete, fees paid and release is authorized by a designated member of Little Buddies.*

I agree that if I'm no longer able to foster the animals(s) that I will return the animals(s) to Little Buddies and make a concerted effort to give Little Buddies a 2-week notice to try and find another suitable foster for the animal(s).*

I understand that continued participation as a volunteer, foster or transporter with Little Buddies depends on my cooperation with expectations as presented to me.*

I agree to have Little Buddies complete reference call checks and conduct a home visit inspection to be able to approve my foster application. *

I agree all services performed by me or a member of my household are voluntary and are without any express or implied promise of salary, compensation, or payment of any kind.*

I understand that although Little Buddies takes reasonable care to screen the animal(s), it makes no guarantees relating to the health, behavior or actions of the animal(s). I understand that there exists a risk of injury or illness to my own or other animal(s), to me, my family and other persons who come into contact with any Little Buddies animals, as well as risk of personal property loss or damage. *

I accept full responsibility for the animal(s) actions at all times, and hereby release Little Buddies, its officers, directors, participants, volunteers and affiliates from any and all claims, actions, liabilities, damages and costs of any kind arising out of fostering, transportation and/or any other work or activity with any animals connected with Little Buddies.*
